Credit policy
How Collagic treats sources, and how it talks about models.
Credit the person who made the picture
If you did not make an image, the board should be able to say who did: the photographer, the archive, the illustrator. A license note stays with the clip. Export can carry that credit. Collagic does not strip it to make a cleaner file.
The original stays
A cut-out, a sharpen, or a short edge fill is a new file. The source image is not overwritten. You can throw away the derivative and still have the picture you brought in.
Models are muscle
A model can suggest a cut-out, a caption, or a tag. It is not the author of the collage. When a repair runs, it is a local unsharp or a short continuation of an edge that already left the frame. It is not a generative model inventing a missing subject.
If you point Collagic at a model you host or pay for, that request goes to that model. Collagic tells you when work leaves your machine. A local model stays on the machine.
What Collagic will not claim
- Collagic will not call a found photograph yours.
- Collagic will not hide that a model helped.
- Collagic will not publish a quality score it did not measure on your machine.
