The product

Collagic is a local collage utility and a small set of online pages. The Mac app keeps your library on your machine. The browser board, collections, and feeds are a private library behind sign-in. Pictures stay in that browser until you clear them, and they are not uploaded. A feed search sends the words you type to Openverse. A save copies that one listed file through this site into your browser and does not keep it. The website stores waitlist emails and feedback you send. The optional browser extension can store a clip in a cloud inbox. Features can change. This draft is not a substitute for advice from your own lawyer.

Who can use Collagic

During the invite-only period Collagic is for adults only: you must be at least 18. On the website we ask the year and month you were born before you sign in. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we close the account and delete the information, except what the law requires us to keep. An invitation is for the person it was sent to; it is not a promise of access for anyone else.

Your pictures

You are responsible for the rights to what you import, and for crediting the photographer or archive when the license asks. Collagic keeps a source file intact when it makes a cut-out or a local repair. See Credit policy and Privacy.

What you may not save

Do not save, upload or share pictures that show a child in a sexual way, pictures that depict sexual violence or sexual exploitation, or any picture you have no right to hold. We may remove pictures and close accounts that break this. We may report apparent child sexual abuse material and other illegal content to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and to law enforcement, and keep information the law requires us to keep.

Reporting

To report a problem, or to send a copyright notice, use Report a problem or write to hi@weirdlittle.studio. The page takes words and addresses only; we will never ask you to send us a picture.

Models

Local models run on your machine. If you supply an endpoint and a key, you are asking that provider to process a request, and you are responsible for that provider's terms. Collagic does not take ownership of your key.

Accounts

On the web you sign in with your email address and a link we send; there is no password. The Mac app's library needs no account. A bearer token in the Mac app's Settings is the current way to pull a cloud inbox. Don't share it. A name saved in the browser is not a Collagic account.

Paid plans

The Mac app is a one-time local purchase. Cloud is an optional subscription. Neither has a price yet, and checkout is off. There is no Pro or Creator plan. When a price is set, the price shown at checkout is the price. Your local library remains on your machine if you never buy Cloud.
